And We're Back!

Wow, it's been two weeks again! How do I keep letting this happen? Well, I'll tell you how! I was at freakin Disney World, woohoo! haha

Do you people know how much work goes in to prepping a family of 5 plus two dogs for a week long vacation to Disney?! Oh my goodness it was almost as bad as a PCS! But it was SO worth it!

MD has spring break a tiny bit later than most schools because of Master's! They're like, go ahead abandon ship! Get out of here, ha! And that we did! We only had a 6 hour drive there so we weren't in a huge hurry to hit the road and let the littles take there time waking up. I could hardly stand it I was so anxious to get on the road! We made it there after an agonizing trip full of I have to go potty, I'm thirsty, I'm hungry(thank goodness I packed an artillery of snacks) and more I have to go potty. We did dinner and Joe and the kids swam! Baby Diva and I hung out and watched, it was too chilly for her!

First day of our week long vacation was spent at SeaWorld! Was this a roller coaster with MD's little brother. Sometimes I have a hard time deciphering naughty from Sensory overload ....This day there was no problem telling he just woke up wanting to be a mini jerk! Throwing tantrums, hitting, kicking, biting, screaming, he pretty much covered it all. As he tried to climb the wall around the dolphin cove I prayed a dolphin would splash him obnoxiously in the face! (no such luck, ha) I splurged for a "dining with Shamu" lunch. MD LOOOOOOVED this! she was so excited to be so close and watch the whales and thought it was hilarious when we'd get splashed! Here is our photo before lunch. It definitely sums up our day! MD on point, Her daddy and baby diva just chilling, MD's little brother the terror, and me so annoyed with the child that just head butt me in the face causing me to bite my cheek so hard my mouth filled with blood. I can laugh at it now, a week later ha. Baby diva was a sweet angel this day. Seriously just enjoyed being strolled around and occasionally checking things out!

The rest of the week went much better than our first day, thank God! We had our peaks and our valley's as I explained to a friend but truly the most fun we'd had in a long time! It's hard as parents of 3 littles not to feel worn down by someone constantly needing a drink, a diaper change, to be carried or in and out of the stroller or not being able to please everyone at once on top of being sleep deprived because a baby isn't sleeping through the night and a little is having bad dreams! But the kids faces when they met their favorite characters, their excited screams on the Dumbo and Teacup rides and the silly and crazy fun we had in the pool trump it all. THAT is what I will remember from this week!

We bought the Photo Pass Memory maker and I highly recommend it! I didn't want to bring my Rebel incase something happened and honestly because who needs one more thing to carry around Disney?! We stopped everywhere we could for a quick photo, the photographer scanned our magic bands and they were online for us to view! So simple and SO great! Plus, I never end up in any photos because I'm always the one taking them!

A quick list of our faves

1. Of course MD's #1 is Bippity Boppity Boutique! She's a real live princess now ;) Her dad and I went back and forth a little bit about this because of the price but with all things included it was certainly worth it. She chose sleeping beauty and received the dress, wand, and tiara. She had her hair, make up and nails done by a fairy god mother and looked too cute! She was nervous at first and shy and when they turned her around to see she just beamed!

2. Disney Junior Live at Hollywood Studios. Both MD and her little brother were so excited the whole time. MD's little brother absolutely adores Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and both were a part of the performance so I knew right away he'd be so so excited and I was so happy to see MD enjoying it, too!

3. Breakfast at Tuskers-Animal Kingdom. The breakfast buffet was insanely delicious with too many choices and the kids had the BEST time meeting Mickey, Goofy, Donald and Daisy! And can I just mention how FANTASTIC all of Disney's employees were?! We truly appreciated the amazing hospitality everywhere we went!

4. The parades at Magic Kingdom were so cool. You can see them from just about anywhere and don't have to worry about finding that perfect spot for the littles to see the really neat floats and characters go by! I was actually surprised by how much the kids enjoyed it.

5. THE CHARACTERS! They were all such great sports and seeing the kids faces light up seriously melted me! It was the best thing ever!

Honestly, we were not disappointed by anything. We only made it to fireworks at Epcot because it was just too much sensory overload for MD's little brother. He loved the fireworks but had to sit in my lap and a held him tight with my hands over his ears. I'm so glad we were able to take this family vacation and can't wait to go back...in 5-10 years LOL!
